CORPORATE LAWYERS - MOSCOW - LEADING PRACTICES

Rate: £ 50 to £ 100 K (Full-time) + Benefits & bonus

Our client is a leading international who have had a presence in the Russian Federation for the last 30 years.

They provide the full corporate and commercial service to local and leading international organisations on issues including planning, negotiation, documentation, registration, implementation and operation. They have been and are currently involved in negotiating and documenting production, manufacturing, trading and other joint ventures, service agreements, project financings and other business transactions.

The firm is principally separated into the following practice groups:

Corporate - which sets up and structures new business activities in Russia, with emphasis on currency exchange and control matters and in shareholders rights issues.

Energy - representing Western companies on a number of energy projects, both in the resource area and the electricity generation and transmission sector.

Finance - representing lenders and borrowers in transactions relating to various Russian projects.

Privatisation - The firm has been part in some of the largest privitisations to date in Russia.


Telecommunications and Media

The firm are looking to boost their team with the appointment of 2 junior lawyers (2-4 PQE level) in their corporate department and a senior lateral in corporate (5 PQE +). The successful candidates must have M&A and a strong corporate background with Russian language skills.
