My client is a multi officed nationally recognised legal practice. They offer unrivalled business and individual client services.
One area of specialism is their insurance department. This department operates for numerous general insurers, local authorities, self-insured businesses, claims management organisations, and brokers. The team advises only those involved in the insurance industry and their processes and work-practices are driven by their requirements.
They are now recruiting for a claims handler executive with 2 years plus experience. The purpose of the role is to help insurance companies conduct defences of claims against their customers.
This role is based in a team that acts for one major insurer in particular and is by definition a specialist job.
Applicants will deal with litigated claims all the way to a final hearing, and in doing so keep to an absolute minimum, the claims cost to their insurer clients.
You will also be asked to meet time recording and billing targets, and internally monitor overall results against the sums claimed, in order to measure success.
The job holder will specifically run their own case load from start from scratch, therefore time management and prioritisational skills are essential.
This is a fantastic role opportunity for an experienced insurance claims handler to have a more diverse and complex work load, as well be part of an established and regarded law firm.
