Acceptance of Terms.

1. Access to and use of this website, which is owned by theparalegal.co.uk, constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below..

2. These terms and conditions apply to all those who access and use this website including jobseekers, employers and recruiters.

3. Theparalegal.co.uk reserve the right to update and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice to users. All users are responsible for reviewing any alerts regarding changes to terms and conditions, which may be posted online. Continued use of the website following changes posted will be interpreted as your acceptance of these changes as part of the terms and conditions of use.

Privacy

1. Non credit card client accounts are payable within 14 days of the advertising and/or CV pack being live. In the event of a client account remaining unpaid, theparalegal.co.uk reserve the right to suspend the service without prior notice to the client.

General Terms and Conditions.

1. To use Theparalegal.co.uk may require you to open an account. These accounts are password generated. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Theparalegal.co.uk will not be liable for any loss incurred as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge.

2. Text brands, content, images, graphics and logos are owned by theparalegal.co.uk and/or third parties and are protected by intellectual property law. Theparalegal.co.uk authorises users to download a single copy of material, such as a job or CVs for personal use. Unauthorised use of any material of this site for public or commercial use may violate both national and international copyright laws.

3. As a user of  Theparalegal.co.uk, you agree to use the site for its intended purposes and at all times act in good faith. The following uses are prohibited:

  • Use of obscene or blasphemous postings.
  • Promotion of illegal activities.
  • Infringement of copyright, trademark or other persons.
  • Placing erroneous or false information on the site.
  • Uploading and/or posting any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, Junk mail or Spam.
  • Making alterations to any material posted other than the user's own.
  • Erasing any material posted other than the user's own.
  • Uploading any file that could be harmful to the theparalegal.co.uk website, including the uploading of files that contain a virus or other software damaging material.
4. You may not use this site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by the terms and conditions. Neither may you use the site in any manner that may damage or impair the site or its server.

5. Users may not attempt to obtain unauthorised information from or gain unauthorised access to any services, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the theparalegal.co.uk server.

6. It is the responsibility of the advertiser to ensure that all advertisements are both accurate and legal and do not discriminate on the grounds of sex, race, religion, disability or age.

7. It is the responsibility of the advertiser to ensure that advertisements comply with the relevant National and EU advertisement regulations. Theparalegal.co.uk will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage incurred by the advertiser as a result of failure to comply with advertisement regulations.

8. Theparalegal.co.uk will not in any way be responsible for the quality, safety, legality, truth or accuracy of jobs or candidates described on the site.

9. The user is responsible for the quality, safety, legality, truth and accuracy of jobs postings or job forms and theparalegal.co.uk is not responsible for any loss, damage or liability arising from user errors.

10. Theparalegal.co.uk reserves the right to remove any material posted on the site which is deemed to be in conflict with these terms and conditions or that may be harmful to theparalegal.co.uk

11. Theparalegal.co.uk reserve the right to remove a candidates details from the site, without prior notice, where candidates are deemed to be in breach of the terms and conditions of use.

12. Theparalegal.co.uk reserves the right to terminate any users account facility or access to the site if it deems that the said user's actions/activities are in conflict with the terms and conditions or intended purpose of the site.

13. Theparalegal.co.uk accept no responsibility for the content of third party sites accessed through user links provided by this site. Links to third party sites are provided solely as a convenience to the user and do not imply endorsement of such linked sites. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may result from use of third party sites. Users must acknowledge that the use of third party linked sites are governed by the terms and conditions of these sites and are not under our control.

14. Theparalegal.co.uk does not at any time guarantee replies that may be received by the advertiser following posting of jobs advertisements on the site. We act solely as a platform for the referral of information between candidates and employers.

15. Theparalegal.co.uk does not at any time guarantee the quality or number of CVs viewable on the site using any of the CV packages available.

16. Each job may be posted once only. Posting duplicates of the same job is prohibited.

17. Candidates are registered and place their personal details entirely at their own risk.Theparalegal.co.uk is not responsible for misuse of information submitted by any candidate by third parties.

18. While theparalegal.co.uk make every effort to ensure integrity and security of the site, no guarantee is made in relation to security, viruses and/or malicious programs and theparalegal.co.uk accept no liability for any loss or damage resulting from breaches of security, viruses or malicious programs.

Advertisers

In addition to the terms already outlines, the following conditions apply to advertisers using the theparalegal.co.uk site.

1. Single slot advertisements are payable in full in advance of the job being posted. Payments can be made by credit cards, cheque, direct debit and money transfer.

2. Job slots are bought for a specific time period and payment is due irrespective of the duration for which the job posting remains live and the number or quality of responses received.

3. Where a client chooses to remove an advertisement prior to its expiry date, no refund is payable for unused time. The advertiser will be invoiced for the full period including the unused time. Alternative positions may be substituted for those removed up to the expiry date of the job posting pack purchased and will be visible up to this date.

4. Where advertising contracts in excess of 30 days are purchased and subsequently expired by the client, theparalegal.co.uk will charge the client for the period of time contracted, subject to the client providing 30 days notice of the service no longer being required. Refunds are given at the discretion of theparalegal.co.uk management.

5. While theparalegal.co.uk make every effort to ensure that advertisements are visible to site users at all times, we make no guarantee that the site will operate without interruption or error free. Theparalegal.co.uk cannot accept liability for any periods, during which the site may be unavailable to users as a result of technical, maintenance or any other factors outside of our control.
